About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to find the right questions. Also... to find the grail.

ABOUT ME

I am a fun loving adventurous guy. I love to learn from those I meet and exchange stories. I am very friendly and open. I tend to be extremely tolerant and peaceful and have very good relations with most people. I enjoy movies, books, science, art, coffee, tea and food as much as I enjoy outdoors activities.

PHILOSOPHY

The only restraint for freedom should be the respect of others. Be kind and unselfish, everything else will work itself out. We should be mindful and respectful of other people and beings and always work for the benefit of the community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted travelers at home on several occasions. I love cultural exchange and hope to visit and host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted many travelers in my home before and have maintained long friendships with most of them. I am very people oriented and rarely have bad experiences when interacting with others.

I used couchsurfing when visiting Turkey and it was a fantastic experience.

Interests

Everything and anything. I have the curiosity of a hyperactive ten year old and enjoy learning new things. I love the arts and the outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many and too varied to mention here. Let's talk about it! I love to read and love cinema. My tastes are varied and sometimes very eclectic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to many places and always walked away with fantastic stories... I have vastly explored the valleys, mountains and jungles of Guatemala, visited ancient cities, walked through the desert in New Mexico, traversed the waterways of Florida, ridden buses and trucks across Central America and Mexico, swam in the ocean and the sea, visited countless museums. Every day is a great adventure. I don't know where I am going but I can't stop until I get there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a scientist by training, I have specialized in bird ecology and pollination ecology of bees. I love to talk about this topics, but I am mostly interested in learning from other fields of interest. I enjoy the exchange of ideas and emotions.
