About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Chasing my shadow

ABOUT ME

i try to be friendly and open minded,i guess i'm laidback..and,not easy to describe my self, just get to meet and will find it out.
i'm quite addicted to coffee and any time i'm off Italy i always look for a drinkable good one,not being half a litre of black hot water.

PHILOSOPHY

everything concerns meeting people can teach me something new and interesting, simply talking with them about all is good enough.
i'm always eager to get in touch with someone as everyone is unique and has something to offer.
the most important thing is preserving our own culture and traditions while we learn and pick up from the other ones without claiming that something is better cause we are used to it.
world is so beautiful cause it's varied as its people are.
why does one wanna be like million others? i'm talking about music, food, politics, coffee, points of view and many more stuff.

Interests

above all i really like travelling and everything is involved with it as travel literature and guide books even if i'm not about to leave.
i'm always keen on listening to older and very experienced travellers with weird and funny stories who hit the road the past years when it was not so easy, let's say when all the internet stuff didn't exist.
i used to play bass guitar in a pop punk band and when it's warm and sunny i enjoy getting around with my lovely vintage vespa,i ride a '79 primavera 125 and i'm proud of it.
i like hiking and walking in the nature,as long as it's not a paved road and there are not cars and noise on sight around
i often like to be alone somewhere outside in a possibly nice place staring away and dreaming.
it's the best way i know to completely ease my mind when i'm a bit stressed out.
i love old and used objects that have a story to tell, like the mostly useless things almost everyone has inside his own drawers.
i like too many things and i often change idea.
most probably i like you too.

Music, Movies, and Books

i'm not much into movies but sometimes i enjoy watching some random ones while getting asleep on my couch, mostly small indipendent italian productions like the amazing 'le conseguenze dell'amore'.
italian films are not that bad.

music.. live is better.
the Ramones were my first love, listened to them and getting ready to set up my own band.
i overall listen to every kind of music though, from punk rock to italian love song passing through hip hop.
radio is often on.

i'm always grabbing a book,if it sounds good probably it is.
paul theroux, dominique lapierre, riyzsard kapucinski, bukowski, henry miller,Irvine welsh, hemingway, celine and the great tiziano terzani are just some of my favourite writers.
i enjoy travel literature and travelogues mostly from travelblog.org
'shantaram' is one of the greatest book i've ever read.
i recommend it to everyone..
