ABOUT ME

I'm a visual artist. I have been working with painting, installation, video, and sculpture for some years. I have done projects in Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Mexico,... My work is about memory and how the brain processes it. You can check it on my website www.pablomercado.es
I love art and now I teach at high school.
Other than that I like to travel (obviously), read, woodworking (especially Japanese carpentry), I go everywhere with my bike and I enjoy learning about other cultures deeply.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used Couchsurfing only a couple of times in Japan and China and I enjoyed so much that I would like to keep traveling like this. The best of it is to get to know locals and culture. I feel a bit less touristy when I do so.
