ABOUT ME

Half Belgian, half Spanish and... half... Dutch.
Love walking around cities with a book and looking for nice spots to sit and read (but then get distracted so I look for another spot and in the end I don't read that much).
I have weird interests like watching documentaries about the Spanish civil wars, tuning into national parliaments, looking at Google maps, and catching planes when all the odds are against me.
I like being updated with politics so I read the news everyday while my girlfriend is on 9gag!
History and Geography are my lovers, politics my friend with benefits and economics my wife ^^ I am a nerd who has trouble reading because I have a low attention span and because reading is too linear - I'm looking for another technology other than writing to transmit information.
My principal value is honesty so I say what I think (but sometimes too much, which makes my girlfriend doubt the efficiency of my pre frontal cortex).
Love taking my bike for a day out in Luxembourg, playing romantic music with the cello or improvising on bass :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host people yet because I don't have my own house but I'm learning as much as possible from couchsurfing to be able to share and host when I'll get older.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed in Heeze, Eindhoven, Hamburg, Aarnhem while travelling with my cousin on a bike.
On every occasion, it was an enriching experience.
Also couchsurfed on a bike trip from Luxembourg to Basel, in Saarbrücken, Kalsruhe, Strasbourg, Freiburg.
For me couchsurfing is something very natural that follows the law of hospitality in place for centuries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been from Brussels to Copenhague by bike. I have played the first concerto of Brahms, I have partyed in Lecce without missing my plane,... Aced an econometric test and caught a plane to Glasgow within the same hour.
I have seen beautiful people on my trip, a quartet of Mendelson in the first row (that was lucky).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach history, philosophy, how to do french frites with a stove (which requires a lot of skill), all the flags of the world (random knowledge), belgian dialect !
Want to learn about the culture, spots to read, good places to eat and local anecdotes.
