Hi all! My name is Pablo. I'm from Uruguay, but I've been living in California since 2013. Truth be told, this is a much better launchpad to travel, but I'm to a certain degree a workaholic 😓 and that's one of the things I'm trying to change by joining here.

MISSION:
I don't have one. There's a few countries that I want to visit, but I'm open to visit neighboring countries or unplanned destinations if in good company.

PHYLOSOPHY:
I don't know what I'll do or where I'll be when traveling, but I know that, as long as it's something new, I'll enjoy it one way or another.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

WHEN TRAVELING, I want to see how the real people from the place live — you don't get to know a place by just visiting attractions and staying at hotels!

WHEN AT HOME, I'll try to make your stay be as comfortable as possible. I do want to hear your stories, and would totally cook for you (or WITH you, if you want to share a recipe).

I listen to Uruguayan rock, Spanish guitar, instrumental electric guitar, some US 2000's hits, some reggae or jazz if I'm on those moods, and recently I'm getting into J-Pop while I learn Japanese.

I perform Improv Theater locally, so I can probably play a few games or scenes with you. There's a few I have adapted for the boring parts of road-tripping :P
