About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Connecting to the desert, exploring her lands, and asking for her secrets.
ABOUT ME
I am a religion student at Oberlin College in Ohio, interested in ancient civilizations. I also have a background in Spanish and Latin American Studies and hope to travel in many Spanish speaking countries in order to master my language! The outdoors have always been therapeutic for me, and I try to go hiking, biking, or kayaking as much as possible, which is not nearly often enough. I also enjoy reading, writing, making art, cooking, and a good summer day by the pool with good friends, good beer, and a good grill. At the end of the day, however, I love hearing a good story, laughing at a classic joke, and making a new friend.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to ask the trees questions that I don't have the answers too, and listen to their answers. I am constantly seeking meaning and beauty, but I have found belief in human connections and the natural landscape. But laughing cures everything and having a good time is important!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope to open my home and show all those who pass through a fun and enjoyable time. Traveling is really great and the CS community is really helping to make travels more accessible. I am excited to meet people who are concerned about being a global citizen and interested in promoting peace and cooperation.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I drove across the country CouchSurfing with a friend. I couldn't believe how wonderful and interesting each person we stayed with was. Somehow, the CouchSurfing community has attracted a brilliant people. I have been living in a Coop for the last year, and we almost always have someone sleeping in our lounge. Our community loves visitors and we open our meals to them too. I really appreciate this mindset, and I hope to continue the tradition.

Music, Movies, and Books
twin peaks, ramadanman, and east of eden.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding on the neck of an elephant with an elephant trainer. Man and elephant grew up together and are about the same age, know everything about each other, and really love each other. Riding through the jungles with them and experiencing the deep connection and the connection with the surrounding and dwindling forests was very moving.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you how to cook good Thai food while doing light maintenance on your bike. We could paint together and I could teach you the history of electronic music. I could teach you how to swim butterfly or tell you why twin peaks is the greatest tv show ever created. I would like to learn more about sustainable living and farming. Also I've always wanted to do some carpentry and metal work.
