ABOUT ME

Hi there,We are a family of five. Our 3 children are Manon 22 studying at the University de Franche-Comté in Besançon (Communication), Marine 20 studying at the university de Bourgogne and Charles 17 is at the Lycée in Beaune. I am working as a Production Manager. Caroline is a secretary at the Ligue de Bourgogne de Golf. We are living in Beaune since 2003. We were living in Chartres before that.

PHILOSOPHY

A bit of everything. Work, love, practice sport, share with friends and family, listen to music, read books, watch TV and go to the cinema, learn new things as much as possible, travel (not enough yet), meet people from around the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Caroline and I are looking for welcoming some foreigners during their trip in France while they are visiting Beaune.
We also are wishing to go abroad and meet the people in the country. We feel this is much easier when you stay in their home and share an evening and a meal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted several couchsurfers. The evenings were always different and it was a pleasure sharing our culure, or also the specialities of our region.

Aikido, and so many other things

We like any kind of music. Going from pop/rock to classic to world music too.
I am more on the action and thriller movies and Caroline prefers in general romance

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I practiced Aikido in the UK in 1991 with Moriteru Ueshiba the actual Doshu and grand son of the Aikido founder Morihei Ueshiba. Was not amazing but very impressive for a young beginner.

Give a better knowledge of who are french people what is France (from my point of view of course but as honestly as possible).Learn from others to get a better understanding of the world.If possible, share aikido on the mat if the surfer practice in his (her) country. And practice abroad when I travel.
