-CHEERS!
I grew up along the "big muddy" Missouri River. I am a big fan of boating, canoeing, water skiing, and tubing. I enjoy Ozark folk music and culture, and am proud to call myself a "River Rat".
I have lived in suburbs and city centers as well as rural communities. I am torn between which I enjoy most, and feel most at home. I love the feeling of knowing that with in a twenty minute drive I can be on a gravel road, but also enjoy a quick ride to cultural centers.
I am a fan of cool weather. I can't think of anything better than sitting by a fire on a cold, long, midwestern night.
I enjoy people of all types. No matter what the situation I make it a point to learn somthing new.
PHILOSOPHY
Value tradition. Be open to progress.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Ok. I had my first experience in Rapid City, SD just last week.(November 2009) It was a good time and everything I imagined it to be. I have been traveling a long time, and have known about this website for a long time, but for one reason or another have never signed up. Well I am here now!
(Dec. 2010) I have settled for the time being in Springfield, Il. I have hosted an hand full of people that come through town. I keep busy but can still accomidate a surf. Best to get ahold of me via phone 217-502-5002. Bis dann.
Interests
I am interested in people. I don't watch much T.V. because I feel that the people around me are the best type of entertainment. I am a thinker, and tend to try and see how somthing small relates to the "big picture".
