About Me
Hello All...
I'm a full-time graduate student until 2020. This education has been a whirlwind and most amazing journey. My housemates, four-legged and I enjoy a 'normal' life of work, play and self-care.
If you're passing through and I can spare a moment let's get a coffee or head out to Spencer's Butte for a hike.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have experienced crevices of the world that would have been impossible to find from a hotel room. Thank you to all who let me see your community from your perspective. Couchsurfing is fun, welcoming, nourishing and altruistic. What a life it would be if we all lived like this 100% of our time.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to classical music, Billboard top 20, Bluegrass and the Deva Premal station on Pandora.
I don't watch movies too often, but really enjoy Harry Potter (reading them and watching the movies), old Meg Ryan movies (Sleepless and You've got mail), Pride and Prejudice (with Keira Knightly).
I read tons of books. Right now I'm reading Lilac Girls, a tale of a few young girls in 1939 Poland. If you're interested in a most visually beautiful reading I recommend: Blackberries in the Dreamhouse by Diane Frank.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some days, I have strength to fight for what I believe in. Even just defining and confronting our beliefs is amazing. Power to you who stand up, speak out, and keep on.
Teach, Learn, Share
Traveling is a vulnerable and exhausting moment. Let's help each other be recharged. Speak your needs, and I will speak mine.
I love sharing chatty moments, and quiet moments with good people.
I am swept away by learning, growing, and understanding deeply.
Tell me about what you love, what is deep and true for you, I will listen. Show me without words and I will understand better.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I promise to share the moment with you.
I am interested in being useful. Some ways I can be useful: sewing/ mending, cutting hair (only if you aren't too invested in the outcome), cooking/ baking/ making delicious meals.
I am a self sufficient traveler and find that I clean my hosted space as a Thank You for their generosity. I am open to new ways of expressing my gratitude. Are you familiar with the five languages of love?
