About Me

I’m a 25 year old guy from Mexico, borned in north Mexico and grew up in the South.

I love chatting with people about any topic, while sharing a cup of coffee or a cold beer, I love music and singing (I don’t have the best voice but singing makes my soul happy).

I’m super outgoing and specially open minded, specially because I love learning about the way of thinking of someone, that’s how you really understand stuff about a different culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For new experiencies, meeting people from over the world.

I’ve traveled long term, so I’ve noticed that the best way to experience a place is with locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: psychedelic/experimental rock, electronic, salsa and cumbia, rap, it depends on the mood.
They used to call me jukebox in high school because I knew a lot of songs and would start to sing them all the time.

Movies: Tarantino, Scorsese and Wes Anderson, the 3 amigos (Guillermo del Toro, Iñarritu and Cuarón) because they are Mexican and I grew up with their movies.

Books: I’m not a big reader, I read a couple of books a year, usually novels and stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left Mexico one year ago looking for adventure, it has been really though at times but I’ve had some incredible experiences and met amazing people.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach and share my Mexican culture, music, traditions and specially food :)

I love learning about a culture from the eyes of a local, specifically on the traditions and normal daily stuff for them, learning about the past and the stuff that has happened to a community, you understand a lot of the culture of the city, country, and you understand why it’s habitants behave and are a certain way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m really tidy and polite, I’ve lived with roommates and shared rooms with people, so I’m really considered with the personal space and belongings of other people.

The best thing about me is that I always see the best part of people, that’s what makes me “likeable”, we all have flaws, but when you make a person see the good things in them, it’s really heartwarming for me
