Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been wanting to try CS for some time but I never had the opportunity so far. Even if I don't travel soon I think I'll join some of those meetings they do, to get to know it :) Unfortunately I do not have the possibility to host people right now, but I surely will, as soon as I can!

Edit: I had my first Couchsurfing experience and it was great! :D

Interests

Too many things! Seriously, I am too curious sometimes, so I find interesting almost anything I don't know. I guess the positive part is that I can be happy with little! :D

Music, Movies, and Books

In general I will like a good piece of art even if it's not a style I watch/listen-to/read very often, so I'm totally open to any recommendation!

As of music, I listen to rock, jazz, classical, metal, latin, indie, industrial, blues, soul, funky, electronic... It really just depends on my mood.

Regarding books, it seems I had a bit more of a trend so far, mainly towards science fiction, fantasy and terror (Poe, Lovecraft). Oh, and if you never read mangas give a try to Death Note. I loved it.

Cinema... I like Pixar, Tarantino, James Cameron, Hayao Miyazaki, Lars von Trier, F.F. Coppola, Stanley Kubrick, Zhang Yimou, George Lucas, Ridley Scott (well actually I don't like most of them, just Blade Runner and Alien, but those two... wow), Steven Spielberg (also, only some old ones)...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have dived with whale sharks, manta rays, turtles and lots of colorful fish and coral in the Maldive Islands. I skydived. I saw the Pyramids, the Tutankhamun mask and the ruins of Palmyra. I have seen the Aurora Borealis at -40ºC! I skied in the Alps, saw the beautiful landscapes of Holland, drank lots of Hefeweizen beer in Germany and ate crepes in France. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I guess I could teach some Spanish or Catalan and perhaps some basic piano. Learn... anything! And sharing a great time with you!
