Hi, i am a traveller first and carpenter second. I'm currently travelling Europe via ''Workaway.info'' so that's volunteering/working for food and a bed and it's great! Meeting lot's of new and wonderful people whilst earning my keep and being free to roam is the best gift for me.

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet local people in their home town/city and to experience a place and it's little hidden treasures, otherwise not so accessible. It's a great shortcut to living like a local and having a laugh in the mean time with genuinely nice people.
