Hi!

I'm Paddy and since August 2017 I've been spending my time travelling the world trying new things and meeting new people. I've worked in a variety of jobs in my life from basic prep and cleaning in a butchers, waiter and barman running drinks service for weddings and functions at a hotel and in health and safety at a large multinational. I enjoy learning new skills and can pick things up very quickly. Particularly with things that don't involve sitting behind a desk for hours on end!

I absolutely love spending time outdoors, cooking (and eating), trying new things and chatting with people over drinks (of any kind). In my spare time, I play drums, try and play ukulele, occasionally sing a bit and volunteer as a Scout Leader.

The best part of my travels has been the amazing people I've met on the way, I see couchsurfing as yet another way to meet people, simple as that really....

The fact that it saves accommodation money being the other great benefit of course :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

With no real notice planned, organised, cooked and served 400 people a meal with an outdoor kitchen and a wide range of dietary requirements. Massive challenge but seeing everyone be amazed that a team of 10 people had stepped up and got it done was great.

Stories, laughter, music, food. I'm a pretty simple person really. If there's good chat, food and company I'm happy, I try and bring that to anywhere I'm staying.
