Hi fellow couchsurfers, I grew up in Southern Africa, have been back in the UK for the last 18 years and live in the breathtakingly beautiful Scottish Highlands. I love travel, meeting new people and making friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing as I live in a beautiful area which I would love to share with more people. I have the sea, hilltop walks, beaches and caves directly behind my cottage, the lighthouse is a 10 minute walk away, ruins of both a 12th Century castle and 16th Century Palace within a 4 mile radius, perfect walking/hiking countryside, ideally located if you're interested in exploring the famous Whisky Trail, enjoy golf (several courses within a 20 mile radius) or are a plane enthusiast as I am right next to an airbase.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love Van Morrison, Coldplay, Three Doors Down..... enjoy listening to mellow 70s, pop 80s, rock 90s etc. Books - um, love biographies, thrillers, series like The Hunger Games, Divergent. Loved Stephanie Meyers The Host. Movies.... again I like a wide variety so not easy to select a few!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learnt all 50 American States alphabetically in 20 minutes - and if that doesn't impress, haha, this might take some beating - first 14 years I was married we moved 52 times !!!!!!! I kid you not my friends, Fifty Two times!!! And that was with 4 small children in tow!!!
