Hi I'm Paddy, I lived in my home town of Christchurch all my life until 2 years ago when I moved to Auckland, our most populous city for a job in an Advertising Agency. I always said moving city within NZ was going to be a stepping stone to bigger things. Now I'm excited to be starting my next journey in the UK with a 2 year working visa.
I like to think I'm open minded and curious so I'm always open to trying new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Moving half way across the world and not knowing anyone is quite a daunting prospect for me so while I look for work in London, I'd love the opportunity to meet and stay with some locals.

Interests

Love keeping active, whether it be a leisurely game of tennis or a treacherous mountain climb, I'm up for it!

While I enjoy the typical sight seeing of modern travel, I much prefer to 'experience' my destination through friendships, food, customs and cultural. My time travelling in China was a real eye opener for my outlook, and the friendships made really made the trip.

Pretty much all electro, I'd love to make it to some of the world renown festivals.
I can play the drums, my band had our 2mins of fame when we covered the Strokes - Juicebox at our high school talent show.

Ran for about an hour on the great wall to see the original sections, which are sadly pretty much ruins.

Teach, Learn, Share

I took Spanish for a semester at University and would love to pick it up again.

On the off chance someone has access to a drum kit I'd be happy to teach them.

Love keeping active, if anyone is up for a workout of any type.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to cook some meals for my host as well as help out with jobs around the property.
