ABOUT ME

I am a blessed man who wakes up happy! I love people and I like to get loved too. I am a "giving" type always ready to help folks. I love to dance and am pretty good too; the younger folks get surpized. I love to go out to eat and to concerts and like most music. I like to stay at different hotels and places during the year here in Turkey. I alos like to travel abroad. My biggest desire is to visit Australia. I have travelled extensively but doing via CS will definitely be and adventure that I am looking forward to. I am a logistician by profession and therefore I am an excellent planner and organizer. Yet I realize the being in this CS "family" will sometimes be challenging and thats ok.

PHILOSOPHY

L I F E is important, not so much ones biological age. Being open and transparent and honest is the only way to go. Understanding allows one to oversee others shortcomings.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First of all, I want to meet other members in Turkey; first in Izmir and then in the other regions. There must be side benefits to this. Secondly I want to search/surf alot to give me ideas on new places to travel and to meet up with members. I could organize CS meetings in Izmir and Turkey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is very interesting that I used to sleep on my couch when young while watching TV and I still do it now. Actually, I have slept on my couch almost as much as my bed :). So I think this site is just for me. Over the years that I lived in Turkey, I had on many occasions put folks up on a couch and some I didnt even know. This was of course longe before CS existed. The one I remember was a guy who was from New Zealand and he need a place to stay so I invited him and he was so grateful. Never heard from him again but I remember his name and the place where he was from. Maybe I will look him up someday.

兴趣

Meeting new people of course and those with different interests and those with like interests. CS will be a great platform for that. I love to dance, eat out and stay at different hotels from 5 star to pansyons. I love to entertain people at home. I enjoy going out to the sinema. Religion and philosophy are some intersting topics for me.

I guess I want to mostly share about my life in relationships with others for which I have lots of experience. Relationships from a casual acquaintance to those more intimate. Also, as an American who has lived in Turkey for most of his life, I love to share my perspectives on the different world views which shape the different people we meet. Of course I want to learn more about people from differant lands and what makes them "tick".
