In short, I love climbing, travel, learning, web design, exercise, any outdoor adventure activity, language learning, writing and healthy eating.

PHILOSOPHY

From the moment we're born we're constantly learning new things... Then we hit school, 'education' and for some reason it becomes a chore... we finish school/college, our formal education and go get a job, kids, yadayada...

I believe education is experience, we learn new things all the time, but for some reason after school a lot of us don't actively seek experience, to learn and do new things... I think happiness in life can be greatly increased by actively seeking opportunities for new experience, and creating situations and a life that increases the chances for new experiences to happen... The world is infinitely fascinating, boredom should be an impossibility, but thanks largely to tv many forget how great the world is.... Anyway, I'm an eternal practical optimist. i.e. plan for the worst, but expect the best, and then make the best happen.

I've hosted several Couchsurfers, Couchsurfed in Ireland, and in Istanbul, Turkey and Bucharest, Romania.

Rock climbing, yoga (I love acro yoga!), weight-lifting, body weight and gymnastics type stuff, cycling, reading, out doors anything really, hiking, camping :) cooking, baking, writing, language learning.
