ABOUT ME

I'm a free spirits who don't believe the life's rhythm should be measured by 9 to 5 cycles. Whatever I do in life, is done with passion and conviction. After spending 10 years in the UK, sharing with people my love for Yoga and Thai Yoga Massage, I felt it's high time for a change and set off for an open-ended travel to South-East Asia, along with my second half and my best travel companion.

PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to enjoy it and take the most of it. Relationships and experiences are far more important for me than money. I'm on a quest to find the inner contentment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm on CS to meet new, interesting people and exchange ideas, experiences.
I believe only staying with the locals gives the real travel experience, helps to get an 'insiders' view of a city or country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I travel within Europe, I usually stay with friends.
I've been a CS host couple of times when me and my husband lived in London and we enjoyed that experience thoroughly. In fact, two of Coach Surfers returned to stay with us on their second visit to London. We had an open house in London but were mostly hosting our friends passing by the metropolis.
Right now, we're travelling around South East Asia and made it a point to stay with a local at least once in each country we visit. It really makes a difference to our experience as we both meet interesting people and learn a lot about the country.

Interests

I'm lucky to say that my job is my greatest passion.
I can't leave without travelling, I'm forever curious of different cultures and ways of life.
I love nature, that's what brings me most joy and calmness. That is the main reason why I enjoy hiking.
I'm also an avid reader- I don't make even the shortest journey without a book.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading world literature, may it be South American, Indian, Chinese, Japanese or African. I enjoy novels, reportages and history books. Right now my favourite authors are William Dalrymple and Tiziano Terzani.

Independent cinema from all over the world is what interests me most. I also enjoy documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with a whale shark on Ko Tao
Teaching yoga to Cambodian kids in Siem Reap

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give a yoga class or a thai yoga massage treatment or cook a vegan meal.

I'd love to practice my language skills (Spanish/German/Russian)
