Overview
About Me
Not much to say. An experiment to create the worlds most stereotypical looking Irish person. Almost perfect but they forgot the whole speak Gaelic part, so close!
I entertain myself keeping up with geek culture and gaming, and using my old IT knowledge fixing computers from time to time
I am also a pretty big fitness fan, really enjoy hitting the gym and trying to best a personal running or weightlifting record. Great for overall well being both physical and mental.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to get out and travel once the deathly claws of work releases me! And to then meet new people and explore unusual and unfamiliar places around the world to keep the sense of wonder going.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Thing, and Vanishing Point when i have a need to watch a 70s American muscle car tear across the Arizona desert.
For books, Non fictional I love to read about political systems, or the important events of history as experienced by regular people, Iron Curtain by Anne Applebaum for example is a prime example.
For fictional works, my go to author is Stephen Baxter, nobody else can drag a sense of wonder out of me like his writing.
Musically, my tastes are pretty wide, but I have an overall weakness for female fronted rock, my last.fm profile is a pretty good summary. http://www.last.fm/user/Gullimont
