About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To take advantage of quitting my job and travel the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm a firm believer that variety is the spice of life. I try to keep an open mind and try as many different things as I can, whether they be foods (especially if they be foods), places, activities, or anything else. I love walking around unfamiliar cities, anything related to sports, listening to people's stories, nerding out and also zoning out. This description isn't enormously helpful: talk to me!

PHILOSOPHY

I think that open-mindedness is arguably the most important quality a person can have. There's no better way to spend time than discovering the ways that other people spend time with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CouchSurfing experience was a meetup with the Tokyo group that I stumbled into by chance. It was tons of fun to just grab a few drinks and have a chat and I got some awesome advice about things to do in Tokyo as well! Since then I've met a couple of other people and surfed a couple of times.

Interests

Freediving has been my biggest passion recently and I'm looking into becoming an instructor (happy to talk your ear off about it)! Sports, books, science, art, walking, languages, food, etc... Trying new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo completely blew my mind. Hiked Mt Whitney and the San Jacinto Cactus to Clouds route.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach racket sports, get you into freediving, help with computers, and practice languages. Anything you can teach me or show me around your town would be amazing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, practice languages, (maybe) help with computers, swap stories.
