About Me
CURRENT MISSION
keeping myself entertained in Portland
ABOUT ME
I have lived in Portland about 8 years, and I love this city, especially in the summer! I am a student at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, learning acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage, etc.
I have traveled in South America and Europe, I think Spain would qualify as my favorite country to visit. I had a fantastic time couch surfing and staying with friends in Barcelona, Bilbao, and Toledo last fall. I met great people, and I went surfing on the northern coast!
My personality is calm, friendly, and a tiny bit shy. I like to go out with my friends and hear live music, have a drink, dance a bit, meet some new people, talk about books and movies and this strange and interesting world we live in. I also like to cook delicious food with friends, eat, talk, and then watch a good film together.
PHILOSOPHY
A positive perspective and enjoyment of the moment...a hopeful spirit, and a good sense of humor and adventure!
I like to try new things and meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I watch a lot of Spanish films to practice my Spanish and because they are quite entertaining...Almodovar, Saura, etc.
I'm kind of a slow reader, however I did read 100 Years of Solitude twice!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first time abroad I lived and traveled in Ecuador for 3 months. I spent a week in the most beautiful pueblo high up in the Andes. It was tucked in the mountains just below a volcano. I saw spectacular waterfalls and enjoyed the hot springs. I was quite shy at 18 years old, but I managed to make a few friends here.
