I live in Tenerife with my wife dog and cat and working in a hotel. I was born in Slovenia by Deaf parents and most of my childhood and teenager years I used Sign Language. Daily I guide sport activities at my job and practicing meditation and swimming.

My wife is from North Macedonia and we take care for our peace and support. She is a great Chef who makes my life even sweeter. Thanks to her I am better person and living healthy life. We met in an eU project and because of her disability i needed 7 years to accept it and this was the best decision in my life. She is very bright and smart. I hope you will find it similar.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

It's amazing, how someone can stay with locals and actually live and share part of their lives. It's great tool for all of us to benefit out of it. I joined CS in summer 2007 and was amazed with my first host. I continue surfing couches in Europe, Marocco and USA.

Now that I paused Couchsurfing for few years I am glad to be back and married ;)

Interessen

I love to learn, more is better. I do daily meditation twice per day. I love being active, speacily swimming and hiking. Because my wife has mobility difficulties I do less adrenalin stuff. I love to watch documentaries, reading books of Yuval Noah Harari and loving Trevor Noah comedian.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

In 2003 I had a car accident and was in coma 4 weeks. After 6 months in hospital and wheelchair I finished master degree, lived, worked and studied in 8 countries.

Another thing is that I decided to marry my lovely one leg lady. Nowadays I am happy to overcome my perception about disability and decided for her.

Yes there is the 3rd one. I lived till 39th year very unstable life by moving here and there over 100s times and last year married in one place.

I know few languages and am willing to speak and practise any of them. Meditation food and wellbeing and daily sport exercise are my preferences. I have a deaf parents and speak Sign Language.

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

My great pleasure will be to share all costs of living and even more. I am working constantly so for any assistence I like to pay it back if acceptable.
