I work in film production and I want to spread health education, love, and body positivity to my audience while highlighting the diversity of the human condition, different minority groups and issues they face, the disabled community for example. I am a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. Have been to 16 countries, enjoy doing yoga in the morning and dancing in my kitchen as dinner cooks. In addition to starting my film production company, I work with a nonprofit organization in Atlanta, GA curating a film festival as the sponsorship coordinator.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

-To share/give/receive generosity, gratitude, love, and most importantly stories with all walks of life

-To eat good vegetarian/vegan food (I have many dietary restrictions), lose language barriers performing music, to meet other wonderful humans, to get out of my comfort zone, and to get on some couches (and/or hammocks, floor pallets, sleeping bags, or perhaps a bed).

-To return the favor for others when I have a steady and furnished home in the near future

Separate from producing, writing, and editing video content, my interests include:
meditation, veggie bowls from Chipotle/etc., painting and animation, hiking, biking through parks, cooking and baking, reading about space and neuroscience, attempting to better myself, helping others, being an advocate, journalism, birds (owls), kayaking, needlepoint work- canvas tapestries and embroidery, gardening, and not reading the books I'm supposed to read so they sit in a pile while more books accumulate out of thin air

I could listen to any and all kinds of music and be happy, as I tend to sit and analyze music theory as I listen (I can't help it). While my favorite kind of music is friends sitting down and making memories writing and jamming, my favorite artists include Janelle Monae and Beyonce, Miles Davis and George Gershwin, Darren Criss and Theo Katzman, The Brothers Johnson and Cream, Heart and Van Halen, The Killers and Simple Plan, My Brightest Diamond and The National, Bowling for Soup and Muse, The Beatles and just that one Sunshine song from the Brady Bunch, Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes, Kate Wolf and Gabriel Kahane, Tarzan and Moana, Gustav Holst and Tchaikovsky, Wagner and Phillip Glass, Beethoven and Chopin, Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald, Bela Fleck and Jake Owen.... you see the picture?

I love fantasy movies. What I Can Share with Hosts

I could teach you about music theory, teach you how to play an instrument, or simply just fill your house with music. I play piano, guitar, and trombone and love singing. On the other side of the arts, I could teach you about color theory, drawing techniques, or I could even help you with your resume or network! Career development I help tutor high school and undergraduate students. I love cooking, especially baked goods like cookies/brownies/etc and would be happy to share with everyone. :)
