About Me

I'm an biophilic eco-urbanist with a passion for urban planning & policy, health & nutrition, learning new activities and ideas, urban & active design, and maintaining a positive outlook in all situations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Aligns with my anti-capitalist appreciation for the 'value of the commons'. Bike-sharing, food-sharing, idea-sharing... couch-sharing naturally fits in that mindset, and I'd love to one day host surfers myself.

Interests

Comedy: Stand up & cabaret. Tim Minchin, Louis CK, Chris Lilley, Bo Burnham & Hans Teeuwen are among my favourites. Any good comedy spots in Adelaide?

Activities: Volleyball, basketball, biking, and climbing. Food foraging, street art admiring, and animal observing. Painting, architectural drafting, and raw cooking.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make some MEAN plant-based/vegan food (as oxymoronic as that sounds) that's cheap, healthy, and delicious.
I'm incredibly handy around the house & garden, and can put together Ikea furniture faster than you can say smorgasbord.
I haven't yet accumulated many travel stories, but I do have some hilarious anecdotes about the US/Canada border from growing up in my border-city hometown.

Countries I’ve Visited

Dominican Republic, Mexico, United States
