Aligns with my anti-capitalist appreciation for the 'value of the commons'. Bike-sharing, food-sharing, idea-sharing... couch-sharing naturally fits in that mindset, and I'd love to one day host surfers myself.

I can make some MEAN plant-based/vegan food (as oxymoronic as that sounds) that's cheap, healthy, and delicious.
I'm incredibly handy around the house & garden, and can put together Ikea furniture faster than you can say smorgasbord.
I haven't yet accumulated many travel stories, but I do have some hilarious anecdotes about the US/Canada border from growing up in my border-city hometown.
