My brain is hardwired to fall in love with nature, over and over. My soul thrives on meeting good-minded people. And in my heart hides this longing for ever changing adventure!
I was told that traveling wasn't sustainable and that it wasn't responsible, so I started to believe it! But I have this deep rooted gut feeling that I can make it happen and still give back to the world.
I have no idea what I am going to be when I grow up....(an outdoors guide? a fitness instructor? a parks and rec officer? a really nice and professional couch surfer? ) I guess I am still looking at my options! :p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At 22, I've realized that all I've done is talked about traveling and I am ready to make that change.
My boyfriend travels for his job, touring the U.S. and there have been times I wished I could find a place to sleep for a few nights so I could meet up with him. Other times, I am just ready to immerse myself in a few nights of someone else's world...learning new food, conversation, hobbies, sports, music, local sweet spots.
Always eager to try something new :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-I climbed Chichen Itza (one of the 7 wonders) before it was roped off. At the very top it started storming and we had to sit at the top until the sun came out.

-We met a friend in Mexico who helped rescue sea turtle eggs on the beach and he taught us/let us help bury them in the sanctuary. We saved 106 eggs and were able to walk with the mama; all the way back to the water.

-I trusted my gut and moved from Michigan to Tennessee with only my jeep full of things to live with my other half. I had met him about 6months prior and we had spent a total of 18 or so days in person before I moved. Two years later, I would call that pretty amazing :)
