About Me

I am a full-time digital nomad, part-time wine connoisseur, and some-time binge watcher. The last two may or may not be related.

I lived abroad in Australia for a year and caught the travel bug while exploring places on the other side of the world, like Bali and Thailand. I settled back into Boston for the past 2 years, but it's time to continue my adventures around the globe! I quit my desk job in September 2017 and started travelling full time, having spent the time in Europe and South/Central America.

“Jobs fill your pocket, adventures fill your soul" #lifebeforework

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not having a travel buddy is no excuse to miss out on adventures, and while hostels and hotels can be great, nothing beats getting to know a new place than learning from a local!

My goal is to be a traveler, not a tourist.

Interests

Art nerd, museum geek, history buff.

I enjoy outdoor adventures (like waking up at 3am to see the sun rise from an inactive volcano in Bali), and am not afraid to try new and sometimes skeptical things (like BBQ scorpion in Thailand).

I love music and enjoy meeting people on the road who are down to dance until the morning hours, whether in a local bar with a live jazz band or a music festival in Europe or a club built into rock caves along the Amalfi Coast.

Most importantly, I love food! I am a total foodie and will happily hand over my money if the experience and food are worth it, but also very much appreciate a local favorite. I also love to cook and try my best to take cooking classes along my travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef before it disappears and even hand fed a turtle underwater - coolest thing ever!

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to share my knowledge of the digital marketing world and provide tips/tricks for social media advertising.

I love to cook and would be so excited to learn how to make local dishes - happy to purchase all groceries in trade for a good meal! Recipes are my favorite souvenir because they can be shared with anyone at any time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, a good meal (I love to cook and/or help), and a place to stay if you ever find yourself in Boston.

Countries I’ve Visited

Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, England, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Portugal, Scotland, Thailand, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
