Overview
About Me
I am a 22 year old from Nottingham and a recent graduate at Manchester Metropolitan University, where I studied Business Management with a pathway in Marketing. My degree led me to take a year studying abroad in America where I was based in North Carolina, but was fortunate enough to travel around the rest of the states. Since graduating, I have extended my travels, with a highly ambitious route ahead of me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently I'm not hosting but I'm hoping to stay with locals in different places. I hope to get a more personal experience as well as meet new people from around the world and experiencing different cultures.
Interests
I enjoy socialising with friends and family as much as I can. The older I have gotten I have also spent more time making weekend trips to places in Europe; my favourites being Berlin and Paris. When at university I liked to watch sports games such as football and netball, I occasionally go to watch professional football games with my dad.
I have taken up a new hobby whilst in the USA... rock climbing. I'm now certified to belay other climbers and have taken trips to test out my new skills.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty open to all music styles and have enjoyed a number of gigs and music festivals in the past few years. If I had to choose some favourites they would be: Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Coldplay, Mumford and Sons, Bombay Bicycle Club, James Bay, Vance Joy, The White Stripes, The Black Keys and The Killers.
I like movies with a bit of a twist, my favourite's are the psychological thrillers. A few that I can watch over and over include: Fight Club, The Sixth Sense, American History X, Match Point, Seven Pounds, Shutter Island, Gone Girl.
I spend a lot of time reading, but still not as much as I'd like. I tend to read crime and mystery novels. but I'm pretty open to different genre's.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving to America to study was a big step for me, yet probably the best decision of my life. I have become a lot more outgoing and have found an interest in travelling, which has led to me now travelling around more of the world!
I have also been snorkelling in the Atlantic Ocean, and have been bungee jumping, both were pretty thrilling!
