ABOUT ME

Finished an MA here in Budapest, now I'm getting used to the working grind. Moved to Europe over two years ago, and though I keep waiting for the excitement to wear off so far it hasn't...I get unreasonably excited about dogs, I love hiking but haven't done so in ages, and I am lately trying hard to find a hobby. I love wine, I'm pretty laid back and know how to have a good time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've only had good experiences with CS so far, and I've loved meeting people on my own travels. I love the reciprocity and ability to give and help where possible :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove across America with my dad (hint: it's a lot of cornfields). I've spent days on the river in Big Sur, Tahoe beaches, been to three Disneylands, climbed to Knapp's Castle in the middle of the night to wait for the sunrise, driven through New England in the fall, cherry blossoms in Kyoto, haggled in bazaars in Ensanada, tasted wine in Napa Valley, worked at a hostel in Greece...been lucky!

I know a little bit about history, and particularly the medieval period. I know some Latin, if that's of any use, and I'm pretty good at the English language.
