ABOUT ME

I'm honest and honestly nice. I believe that what you give is what you get.

I've worked as a ballerina, Spanish au pair, NYC nanny, magazine editor, and freelance writer. Currently, I'm writing a book and studying to be a yoga teacher.

I'm in love with everything, but the most important things to me are my family, friends, yoga, art, and travel. I'm also pretty into food, especially if its healthy.

I like long talks full of laughter and more questions than answers. I'm very relaxed and fascinated by simple things. Always up for an adventure. Always learning.

PHILOSOPHY

Kindness before and above everything else. Don't make any decisions based on fear.

I feel like all of our possibilities are waiting for us in the unknown. I want to be exposed to different perspectives and discover what I don't even know I should be searching for.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I usually travel solo, so use the site to discover new friends and places. I much prefer an interesting host's floor to a 5 star hotel room.

My flatmates in NYC are quite against hosting, but I try to show surfers around as much as possible. I make an extra special effort to welcome new girls to the community, so, even if you don't have any references yet, feel free to reach out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I do not view CS as a cheap means of travel, but rather as a community which I am committed to positively contributing to. This website has opened the world up to me, and opened me up to the world.

Intereses

I'm in love with the internet and am interested in using it to contribute to a better post-industrial civilization--a more peaceful, educated, and connected world. Also: creation and beauty! All art but especially live music and ballet.

I can teach you yoga, cook you food, and make you laugh. I can give you English for any language, y siempre quiero practicar mi español tanto como sea possible. I can also teach you to sail, tap dance, and find really cheap airfares.
