Ok, there are some tips about some free/cheap/interestingstuff in Prague (only a few which came to my mind, but nice)The first off all, check this useful website :) http://www.prague.net/There are free monday gigs, and next to the venue is a cool coffee NOD where are also some exhibicions http://klub.roxy.cz/index-eng.phpthis one is very unique club with lots of gigs, amazing furniture and awesome steel beer garden http://www.crossclub.cz/cs/in this charming bar are two very special offers : every sunday beer for 7 Kč and every thuesday free sangria for girls. Both since 7 till 10 p.m. But try also their coctails, they are just great!maybe we will meet there :)http://czechoutchannel.blogspot.com/2009/02/bukowskis-bar.html(there is a map downpage)In the same area like Bukowskis is http://www.sedmvlku.cz/ where got delicious coctails for 50 Kč every saturday. (Btw. 1 Kč is about 0,04 EUR, 0,05 USD, 0,03 GBP -on 14.5.09- the basic coin counter http://coinmill.com/CZK_EUR.html )By the way this area called žižkov is full of great bars and venues, so its good to go there if you wanna party with locals. Bořivojova street is called "beer street" you can get to the area for example by trams (9,5,26...) from main train station (hlavni nadrazi) to husinecka or lipanska station and then up to "hill" on your right side :)you may need a ticket for public transport, info and time tables are here: http://www.dpp.cz/en/ its better to buy ticket for more days.if you have a ticket for public transport, its worth to see a Petřin observation tower http://www.prague.net/petrin-hill there goas a cool funicular, which fee is included in normal ticket prize, however if you dont have one, its still very cheap and the place is amazing! If you are a veggie - http://www.happycow.net/europe/czech_republic/prague/free prague tours (I havent tried it myself but friend liked it) http://www.freepraguetours.eu/in every pragues library are at east two computerss with internet, for everyone and for free, here are the adresseshttp://www.mlp.cz/knihovnyand there are places with free wifi:http://www.free-wifi.cz/internet-zdarma/Praha.htmlenjoy your stay! :)
