ABOUT ME

Didi is originally from Jakarta but she came to Bali and founded the Children's home in 2009 to help poor children from Pakisan going to school. Most of them have no parents or close family to take care of them. Now around twenty kids aged from 5 to 18 live together and are taken care of.

The children's home is located in a small community in the countryside of north east Bali, called Pakisan. It's a remote and quiet place in the mountains, a beautiful area of ricefields with many temples and a clean river. You will discover simple life in the village and you will be explained some ancient balinese traditions.

Intereses

The girls learn traditional bali dance, all the kids sing some english songs and practice gymnastic and yoga in the evening before dinner. Kids love to play and will welcome you warmly in their humble home. You can tell them stories from your country or share knowledge, facts and pictures from all over the world.

You can help with the homework, english teaching or conversation. Whatever you can teach the kids will be highly appreciated. We have guitars too if you can play :)
