About Me

Hey, hey, hey,

Slovak guy, actually Prague based. Friendly and outgoing. Looking forward to meeting other fellows couchsurfers.

I have sympathy for eastern philosophy, but a western way of living ruins everything. Just kidding, ...or not?

I was at Erasmus for 9 months and had the time of my life :P Maribor rules

Had wonderful summer, 2 months in Malta with fellow poker players (I used to play online poker to make money)

Sometimes I play chess, love the game, we can play one game if you are up to :) I am not very good but already know basics chess.com elo like 1400-1600

I love fun, like everybody else, and I don't think there should be borders or tabu for making fun, ... I like good stand-up comedy, love genius one, with a sense of philosophy- my all-time best stand-up comic - George Carlin :)

I am used to using irony and sarcasm, which not everybody gets or like ... and it could be annoying sometimes I guess, you gotta live with this

I care a little bit about healthy food and lifestyle, but what a life it would be without pleasure? :P

I love doing sports, mostly ice hockey a football, but there is so much more I do from time to time

What fascinates me most is the universe itself ... I have seen a lot of documents about it... btw. quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity are mind-blowing things as well

After watching one interesting channel about philosophy I have started considering it quite interesting as well, at least the way philosophers think and the problems they try to figure out and I am also into critical thinking, which has turned me to be quite a skeptic, before that I had believed every shit out there

I am really curious and sometimes I binge on some random topic I find interesting to learn something new so I know now a lot of random facts for example I read a book about the gut, microbiome, and the proper way of taking sh*** :D

And btw. To be clear, if you send me a request for two months upfront, even two weeks, I probably won't respond at all, (because I have no idea, so don't want to commit even with maybe) probably I keep it and respond like 3 days before, if I notice. The sweet spot is 2-5 days before arrival.

I am really looking forward to meeting you and I believe we can have a great time

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: wathever I consider good :)

Movies: I don't spend that much time by watching movies, most are boring, but still watching something from time to time, some series like Friends, The big band theory, two and a half-man, Simpsons, south park, and some history domunetaries

Books: I don't read much beletry, I think I should start ... Usually I read books where I can learn sth cool or supposedly

Great book I have red:
Nicholas Nassim Taleb: Incerto series, actually 4 books, great if you are intellectually curious ... otherwise, don't bother to read them as they are not so easy to understand and have some drawback, quite a bit egoistic author but knowledge inside, worth every penny

Never split the difference
Why we sleep

There are lot more, once I remember I will write more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

25 day, 5000 km hitch-hike in Europe, met great people from CS on the way

Bonus one - have learned to play few songs on piano but cannot read notes, actually being music anti-talent :D and unintentionally earned like 2€ for playing on public

Teach, Learn, Share

a good mood and positive view :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

exchange our experiences, have a good conversation, we can cook something cool :) I can show you around, go for a beer
