About Me

CURRENT MISSION

expand comfortable range of action

ABOUT ME

Looking to meet awesome, inspirational people and have amazing adventures!

Now... how do I put "who I Am" into words?

PHILOSOPHY

Don't worry, Be Present

Relax. separate the True Self from the mind and emotion; still use the mind but don't loose your True Self in it. Realize who you are by realizing the false mind created self.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While surfing I try to minimize my impact on your environment.

I am not afraid to work or clean, will do dishes, vacuum, clean litterboxes, mow lawn, walk dogs, do various yardwork etc etc.

I may hesitate to do something if it looks like someone like to do something a specific way, or if I don't know where to start.

Feel free to ask me to help!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books

Love some Bob Marley, Grateful Dead, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Philip Glass, Mos Def, Keller Williams, Buckethead, Shpongle... Pretty much all kinds of music. Get into periods of dubstep, trancey stuff and sometimes some metal

Ive been liking Aldous Huxleys writings, just read The Doors of Perception.

Ken Kesey, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Favorite book right now; currently reading Sometimes a Great Notion

Siddhartha - Hermann Hesse

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One? really?

hiking Acadia National Park in Maine was magnificent!

Teach, Learn, Share

Soooo, where do you start?

I would like to learn more about mountaineering, backpacking the backcountry, multipitch lead climbing and traveling.

I am not the best teacher (yet!) but I'm willing to teach about anything and everything. I don't necessarily specialize in anything but know a little about everything. Ahhh...

I can teach you about rock climbing (including traditional lead), slacklining, longboaring, hunting/fishing, archery, paintball (basic pneumatics), mechanics, some computer repair (the longer I abstain the more I forget), some handyman stuff like plumbing electrical and some framing/construction (take that with a grain of salt).

Don't hesitate to ask! I'll let you know how sure I am of my advice.
