ABOUT ME

Korean by blood, American by birth. I am fairly simple and easy going. I love to explore and see great views whether it be nature trails, waterfalls, mountains, urban cities, ocean, lakes, etc. I like to go fishing, ride motorcycles and take photos. Big fanatic of cultural foods I get super excited about trying new foods (yelp.com member here) and even learning how to cook them(full time culinary student at Art Institute while working full time job as well). I laugh a lot and like to listen about peoples life stories and experiences more than tell my own. I am considerate of all things that I do and I like to keep things organized.

I've Surfed, I've Hosted, I've helped with local knowledge, CS events and even given rides to and from wherever.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't generally party much these days but when I'm traveling, its time away from work and worry free environment so I think my travel party days of CS has been the most exciting. But in general, all hosts have been amazing in showing me their city and favorite places to eat and even brief history about their countries and what kind of political and civil battles they are facing and going through.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeled right above a sea turtle in Malaysia and as I was pacing it, it decided to come up for air. I got to gently touch the back of it and caught it all on video :)
Splashing the ocean water on a full moon and seeing plankton light up in the night... fascinating!

I generally like meeting people older than me or people who are well traveled. Older because they generally have an understanding of what's really important in life through time and can show me new perspectives on what's really important. Well traveled because they have seen cultures and lifestyles on different end of spectrum's and have an understanding of what's important in life in that perspective.
