ABOUT ME

Well, I love hosting, although it's usually been family or friends. I always liked the notion of open doors that welcome you, so this forum is really great... I often have friends over for dinner, and like to cook, so I'll probably insist on having a discussion over dinner if you stay here.

I'm a theatre designer (or scenographer, if you will) and I've been a freelancer at different theatres around Denmark since I graduated some eight years ago. At the moment I'm resident at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen, and if theatre is your thing, I'll be happy to give you a tour... It's pretty regular work when it all comes down to it, but to a certain degree it still gives me the freedom of planning my own schedule.

I'm a morning person, but you don't have to be! Usually I don't stay up late, but if something is brewing or good company is there, well, let's see.

PHILOSOPHY

I really try not to be prejudiced. Sometimes it's really hard, since this stuff builds on you. So I always enjoy when my idea of a person turns out not to correspond with reality. It's a great part of my work, not to build characters that are stereotypes. So, please surprise me! I'm open to ideas, although I have my own, and I like to be challenged.

I've been here since the summer 2010, and had some great experiences, and some great guests, great company.

兴趣

Theatre, obviously, big time. It really outshines my passion for nature, food, music and art. Most of my friends are colleagues, so the discussion revolves around theatre much too often.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I drove around Iceland alone, occasionally picking up hitchhikers and just enjoying nature. Visiting a friend, and joining a wedding party in a town on the east coast. That trip had so many highlights, and I spent a lot of beautiful time on the road. I'll definitely try to do that again!
