ABOUT ME

I am living in Dubai for the past 24 years of my life.
Married twice - first to my wife - we already divorced :-( and second to my camera - still together :-)
Happy to look for the beauty in every thing that surrounds me and even happier if I can show it to the others!

PHILOSOPHY

Looking for the beautiful side of the life - from a curve of a sand dune to the witty expression in a common conversation.
Unbalanced personalities make me feel uncomfortable. Prefer to tell nothing then too much.
Believe that a picture is worth a thousand words, but also cherish the words complimenting the picture.
Carrying always a camera and always questioning myself - who needs all that images :-)
Like to meet strangers and to find out who you are, where you're from, what you love and what you hate.
Happy to discover what makes the people feel closer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think of CS as something more than a hotel replacement. It is all about meeting people to exchange stories, ideas and experience.Strangers to the city and the country are welcome. When free I am happy to offer you my place to stretch and refresh your tired body and to show you around the city as a bonus. And if you need a picture or two from a sand dunes it will be my pleasure to take you to the desert. Real travellers are welcome.

- I do not keep housemaid.
- Local socialising is definitely out of my interests.
- Job seekers, sorry, can not help you.

Can teach you how to use your camera creatively (if you tend to snap skyscrapers in the night with build-in flash of your pocket camera you definitely need a leson or two ;-)

Can teach you how to tell a story using your handy-cam.
Forgot to include 'cinema language' in the languages in which I am expert. Can show you the surrounding life from a slightly different perspective.

Can show you how I cook my favourite meals. And of course you will have to try it! :-)
