Informazioni generali
Chi sono
I am sociable, open-minded and easy-going. I can be a bit quiet for a while, untill I feel more confident and secure in a new company. Love books, good music and nice people.
I have to admit that I have hosted only my close friends, but I guess it can't be considered as a real hosting thing. When I first registered here I lived in the unversity campus with strict entrance control, so I could not host. Now I moved in a flat and have a place for you to stay, though this is sometimes impossible. Fortunately, I know many interesting places to go to in the city and nearby and can accompany you in your Moscow discovering.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
I like travelling like everybody. Sometimes I travel, even not very far, to find "a shelter from the storm". I don't mean it literally, of course. Above all I love watching locals to have their own lifestyle, habits, languages, likes, dislikes, and noticing the differences in cultures and views. That's certainly the nicest part of travelling. When I travel I always try to imagine myself as a part of a new place and culture. When I come home, I feel totally different and some sort of a new person, and I like to think that travelling improves my life. Still the new impressions and feelings help me have some rest from my daily routine, get a fresh look at the things, and somehow sometimes change my point of view.
Interessi
The thing I'm really passionate about is photography, especially black and white film photography. I do take a lot of pictures, though I'm not a professional photographer. I love doing portraits, but not the ones which are glamorous, but those with their character and mood. I hope to have my album printed one day. These days I am more attracted to the city and architecture. You can check my photos here https://500px.com/AsiyaBurnasheva
I really enjoy walking, so I can spend the whole day out of doors, just walking in the city and staring at the buidings, and taking pictures, of course!
Other things I like are literature, languages, culture, history, cooking.
I'm not a party animal, I don't mind going to a pub, but not clubbing.

Musica, film e libri
I read different sorts of books, but mainly classics: Russian and English and American literature. Due to my academic studies I also read research literature on sociologies, culturology, philosophy and religious studies.
As for the films, I like detectives, psychological thrillers, science fiction and TV series. The sort of films I hate is a horror film. Oh, I just love Doctor Who!
I usually listen to OST, prefer rock, jazz and soul, some sorts of pop music. If speaking specifically, currently I'm listening to Hozier, Ben's Brother, Fool's Garden, Nina Simone, also a bit of Dave Brubeck and Russian rock music.
Insegna, impara, condividi
Well, I can help you with your English or Russian. Love knitting and do it quite well, so this probably could be helpful too. I suppose my university experience in philosophy and religious studies could be shared in some way during our conversations. I also love cooking and would be happy to teach you the Russian cuisine a bit. And of course, I will be happy to take some pictures of you!
