We're a nice, neat and rabid free youngish couple from Brussels trying to enjoy the greatest things life has to offer, both big and small.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We discovered the joys of CS while staying the the USA in the winter of 2010 and absolutely loved the experience.
We've both surfed and hosted in our hometown of Brussels with great success.

However, it has been a long time since we've last couch surfed/hosted. We hope to dip our toes back in the water with our stay in wonderful Zagreb.

As surfers we love to cook for you and hang out, but if you're the busy type it's fine. We really want to get to know your part of the world from the inside without falling in the tourist traps. So far so good!

Interests

Things we love:indulging in tasty meals, the extraordinary spectacle of ordinary things, overdosing on the complete seventh season of the simpsons, sipping on fine japanese green tea, cooking and baking.. Things he loves:the smell of a fine peated scotch, photographing city lines in black and white, reading a complete SF comic book serie in one week, sleeping like a baby, spending way too much on german new wave records that nodoby listens to anymore..Things she loves:dancing the night away, anything vintage but with a soft spot for Art Deco, tango, old furniture, the sound of rain on the windowpane, chinese ginger sweets, cupcakes!, Dada, anything furry (preferably alive), cocktails!, Parks and Recreation, Jezebel, the color green, autumn, wild lakes..

Music we sway to:

new wave, cold wave, japanese pop, indie pop, 80's chanson française, some folk, a lot of neo folk, dark folk, neue deutsche welle, spanish new wave, belgian new wave, boleros, mambo, high energy disco, funk, vintage exotica, minimal classic, anything ethereal, 60's pop corn.. also anything by Kate Bush

It's not the music we love, but the heart behind it. And we are convinced that you can find in any possible genre.
(Though we'll admit Paloma is having a tough time with reggae, but she's working on it)
