ABOUT ME

Responsible, out going, respectful. I'm a little quirky, and reserved, but love to socialize. Pretty adventurous, I'm up for a challenge.

PHILOSOPHY

In my spare time, I am working on the Board of Directors for a non-profit organization. My committee handles community service and one of my goals is to encourage our members to feel that they are making a difference in our community and understand their own value. I am also an emergency worker in my state.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm on a soul searching journey that has taken me all over the world and I am discovering myself through my travels. I began traveling in 2013 and have met the most amazing people of my life while visiting places that I never thought I would see.

Salsa, Argentine Tango, anything dance, running, yoga, meditation, musical theater, plays, holistic lifestyle, volunteering

I watch a lot of documentaries about our current food system and diet.

1. I flew down to New Orleans to help rebuild the city after Hurricane Katrina
2. I took a transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to Brazil and spent New Years and Carnival in Rio de Janeiro.
3. I walked through the Valley of the Kings
4. Skydiving!
5. I took a helicopter ride from a friends house for an errand and was back before noon

I would be happy to cook simple, healthy meals to share with you and take you around to some of our local sights. I can teach you a few phrases in Portuguese with a Carioca accent.
