I am married to David, who is a keen walker and climber, naturalist and always on the lookout for new projects.

We have 3 children and 9 grandchildren, a dog named Diola after the West African tribe I work with, and am also seeking to learn their language, but this site didn't recognise it in the box above!

We couchsurfed with friends in Canada in 2014 and had a very positive experience and we love meeting people from all over the world.

I love all sorts of creativity, particularly making things out of rubbish! Sea-glass and sea-china jewelry, all sorts made from pallets and anything to do with textiles.
I am also interested in nutrition, cooking and alternative medicine and have followed a wholefood style of cooking for over 40 years.
