Overview
About Me
I have lived in alternative community in the US near Seattle and feel that alternative living situations need expression. I spent several months in China last Spring of this year and it was amazing living/staying in Yunnan and Sichuan. I especially love the markets, street life, countryside and temples. I was asked if I was on a mission by a friend, I said, "If there is one it is to interact with the beautiful and ancient inhabitants of our common humanity while we are still here on this amazing planet." ...and with an eye to leaving a light eco-footprint. In this I have found the meaning of life. I appreciate like-minded sojourners of the solar system sharing philosophies, world views and knowledge. I have taught English(ESL) in Vietnam, in Costa Rica(where I have lived on and off for several years) as well as in the US to foreign students. I have studied the art of Kung Fu for many years. I am able to teach it to beginning students. I am creatively writing and looking fwd to this visit to China to add to my story. Lastly, I love to shop at food and veg. markets and then cook delicious dinners!
