About Me
¡Mexicana aquí! 🙋♀️🇲🇽
Born and raised in a borderline city in Mexico but moved to Arizona, USA for work in early 2021. I work as a translator/interpreter in the medical field.
I studied Japanese for about 4 years but I've forgotten a lot of it haha. I studied abroad in South Korea and interned in Canada while I was studying my undergrad.
I consider myself a very open-minded and curious person. I am a feminist and huge karma believer. I try to be an Earth keeper and to avoid waste as much as I can. I've also been cutting my meat consumption for over a year to help reduce greenhouse gasses.
I like to work out and keep a healthy diet (I am flexitarian). However I'm a BIG foodie! I love to experience different cultures through food! so I'm always down to try a new dish😋
Vaccinated and boostered against COVID!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it is a great opportunity for people to discover other places, and different customs and cultures. It just helps you to get a different perspective of things.
I am looking forward to meet interesting people and taking a glance of different cultures.
Travelling is an amazing experience everyone should allow themselves to do.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to many different genres and I don't even care if the lyrics are in a language I don't understand hahaha.
I'm trying to pick up my reading habit again. Currently, my favorite author is Gabriel García Márquez.
I love dramas/thrillers/suspense movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived in 4 countries so far
I saw glaciers in Alaska
I flew to South Korea when the pandemic had just started in Asia and I didn't speak Korean (ballsy and probably stupid).
I saw the coral reefs in the Caribbean 💙
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help you learn more about Spanish or English, or if you're a Japanese/Korean learner like me we could help each other.
I can teach you how to make Mexican and a little bit of Korean and Indian food 😊
What I Can Share with Hosts
Ride from/to where you need
Show you around after work.
Homemade Mexican food (or from a savoury local restaurant if I don't have the time to cook you something 😅)
A safe place to stay!
