About Me
My day job is working for Atomos as a product manager. My job title is called "Product Ninja" I'm also a working photographer and author. I teach and travel for photography. You can view me on social media @pamelaannberry
"I am Salt Lake" recently did a podcast on who I am: http://www.iamsaltlake.com/episode-221-pamela-ann-berry/ I kind of joke that the podcast was like a 1st date in which afterwards I hope I sounded great :D

My background is filmmaking. I've worked with DGA and Oscar winning directors. I've been apart of national commercials, TV shows and major films. I love what I do. Now I get to travel the country with Atomos and help other filmmakers up their game.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My work only does reimbursement. It's actually quite stressful to have a huge chunk of income tied up as I wait on reimbursements to come through. It's put me in a bind on a few occasions and I really dislike credit cards. In fact, my ex husband was so bad with money that eventually I had to declare bankruptcy and I'm working on rebuilding what used to be amazing credit and I'd rather not have credit cards. I really hope down the road, my employer does company cards so in the meantime, let's have fun and meet really cool people.
I have 4 kids at home so unless I'm not traveling or with kids, then I can host. Plus I live in West Jordan which is about 1/2 hr from downtown SLC. Hopefully down the road I can be more open to hosting.

Teach, Learn, Share
I teach Photography, Video, Editing. My whole life revolves around a camera. I have geeky camera/lens tattoos. My purse is my camera bag. I shoot for bigger political figures, local stores and more. I'm doing more nightsky/timelapse and teach a timelapse workshop a couple times a year.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If I have time, I can demo some cool filmmaking gear and I can always geek out on cameras and photography.
