I am an elementary school teacher in the Bay Area, California. I was born in the Philippines and came to America when I was 8. I graduated from UCR with a BA in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Credential.

I am traveling all over the east coast this summer because I received a scholarship through the Williamsburg Teacher's Institute. I am hoping to meet locals that can introduce me to nice hikes, great food, and learn about local specialties. I am also hoping to expand my network outside of work so that I can learn more about the world to share with my students. I want to learn about anything and everything so I can continue to relate to my students in different ways.

I also like to pretend I'm Anthony Bourdain.
