I'm a bubbly, optimistic person with teeth so big that it can't help but to show through a goofy smile. I can describe myself kind of as a new born puppy - always enthusiastic, excited to meet new people and loyal till the end of time. I love to laugh and love to love. There's nothing better than bonding with a complete stranger over a Family Guy cutaway and laughing until we cry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it goes to show that you are never truly alone in the world. There is a lifelong friend just a stone throw's away in any direction. You just have to get out of your comfort zone. No one can judge you if they don't know you!

Social support is priceless and what we truly need as humans. From the hosts to the other travelers, everyone is willing to open themselves up for a chance to connect and build unforgettable memories, which is 1000x times better than followers on Instagram or Twitter will ever give you.

I'm in Europe for the summer so to meet other fellow travelers or gracious hosts would be so great!

Music, Movies, and Books

Family Guy is definitely one of my all time favorite TV shows in addition to Flight of the Concords, Important Things with Demetri Martin, Futurama, American Dad, Archer and South Park. So you already know what kind of person I am for choosing feel good shows instead of dramas.

My music tastes range from Arctic Monkeys to Warpaint to Yellow Claw. I love to dance, so whatever makes me groove sounds good to me!
I just went to Primavera Sound 2018 in Barcelona and it was really awesome.

My ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIES are the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Harry Potter. I love to be taken to a new reality where anything is possible. You can get so involved and never want to come home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a Western US roadtrip to the major national parks that started in Seattle and went to Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, California and Oregon, I basically lived in a 1995 Honda Accord when I wasn't camping in the middle of nowhere. One of the best times of my life!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I just finished my first year as an assistant English teacher in Spain. I also have a TEFL certification which allows me to Teach English as a Foreign Language so I could help you with your English skills if you'd like! I love teaching/intercambio. I've learned how to be patient and empathetic with people who are trying to learn another language. English is a tricky one!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Being the oldest sibling, I'm used to doing the majority of the dirty work so I could help with some chores around the house and run errands for you.

Cooking; I love to cook but am not very good at it. I'll be your assistant chef or attempt to make something with some cheesy sitcom commentary.

Tennis; I used to be varsity captain in high school so I would love to play for fun!
