I am chilean, lived in Mexico city for 11 years and moved to Nürnberg in 2008. I am friendly, social person, I like to stay active in my life and I'm quite a curious person when it comes to discovering the unkown.

Ever since I was a child, I've been interested in everything that differs from what society considers as "normality". For example, in my teenage years I went to a private school where the social cicrle was very closed and pre-determined. I always tried to find a way to break off that circle and meet people of different ages, cultural identities, sexualities and so on. I wanted to make an idea of my own, of what other people's lives, experiencies and mentalities are. As opposed to just believing anthing I heard and following the rules.

Interests

I'm intersted in all topics that have to do with humans in a social and cultural aspect. Such as, gender roles, indigenous peoples, human rights, textiles, the interaction between cultures and their differences and many more!

I like to have deep conversations, talk about our different feelings and emotions, take good care of my friendships and of course, get to know new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At 24, I moved to Mexico with my little daughter to start my studies ( it went pretty well, I worked, finished my career and raised the most amazing and happy child) and well, I also hitchhiked trough latinamerica while pregnant :P

Mit 24 Jahre bin ich alleine mit meiner kleinen Tochter nach Mexiko zum studieren umgezogen. (es hat geklappt, ich habe gearbeitet, ein Studiengang abgeschloßen und alleine ein kleines glüchliches King erzogen)
Naja, auch bin ich Schwanger durch Lateinamerika per anhalter gereißt :P

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I am a spanish teacher but I know that it is kind of silly to try to teach someone a language within 2 days. So if you want, I can give a crash curse on how to swear in spanish! hahah :P

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very open person and like to find out more about the people sorrounding me . So, I would like to not only sleep at your place or for you to sleep at mine, but to get to know each other and have a great time! I would gladly show you around town, go on a byke ride, visit some interesting places, share some cooking recipies we've learnt through the years or simply hang out and have a few cold beers together!
