Overview
About Me
My husband, Pete and I are semi-retired, easy-going musicians with a liberal perspective. We live right on Lake Michigan and enjoy it's many faces. We aren't into the party-scene and would like to avoid that - but in general, we honor diversity and like meeting new friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We have found that when we travel, we find it so much more fun and interesting to meet and get to know people who actually live in the places where we travel. So - we like to be on the other end of that. We live in a beautiful little town and we know how lucky we are. It's great to see other people enjoy it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Folk and Americana music, inspirational, piano, guitar, string band
Books - Love the Outlander series, The Time Traveler's Wife, Time and Again, spirituality oriented books (not religious per se), anything that I can't put down
Movies - The Big Chill, The Big Lebowski, LaLa Land, The Blues Brothers, The Bridges of Madison County, so many more!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I sang and played (guitar) three of my own songs at the United Nations in New York.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach workshops on various spiritual/metaphysical topics, including life between lives, which was the topic of my dissertation. It's about what happens to us after we "die." Fascinating stuff - at least to me!
