About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring all of Paris ! I just arrived in the city and I’m there for the next few months so I want to make the most out of it!
I want to eperience abroad as soon as 2019, so I'm on a short Schedule - I'll be happy to count you in my plans if there's part of the City you want to visit as well!
ABOUT ME
I guess I'm an easy going person if a bit crazy.
I love to meet new people and to discover new cultures.
I want to have fun before going all the way into boring and responsible adulthood, even if I'm a bit already boring and responsible I guess. I've dedicated the last few years to my jpb, and the rewards are not that great- so I've decided to finally do what I've wanted to do for ever and get the hell out of France for a while. Still staying here for the next few months to put some money aside, but then - let's get going! So if you have any advise, feel free to share them!
PHILOSOPHY
Personal philosophy? I don't really have one, not that I'm aware of...
So if I have to make one just now, I'd say: "Never give up, even if you have to back off for a little while.."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couldn't host at my old place so I let that get in the way for a time - but I now have a pretty inviting couch that doubles up as bed in my living room (I fell asleep in it quite a few times!)...
As a "voyageur dans l'âme" the French say (I really don't know how to translate that : 'travelers in the soul' ? sounds weird...), the idea of CS is really appealing. I'm trying to help and contribute, every little bit I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mostly I went on and of traveling in Erasmus, in hostels or CS... And CS are just best to meet and really enjoy the place you're visiting. So I began doing just that!
Interests
Ouch, my interests are really too vast to be told in a list. But mostly it's about everything that flaunts my mood. Like reading (I'm a geek and a fanfic addict btw, even if I know its crap ^^), traveling and visiting (well obviously, like a lot of people here I'd guess). I'm a also a big History and Patrimony nerd.
- culture
- reading
- traveling
- history
- languages
- study abroad
Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to pop star cookie music.
You know the song on the radio, easy listening? I don't like things to hard on my ears like real heavy metal or rap... Not my funk at all. I'm a bit partial to classic. And jazz. Yes, jazz. And those old songs from the 40s-50s....
Same could be said about my movies or books selection... I don't want to have to force myself to watch or enjoy a movie or a book. That could be a trait of the French lazy consumer mood, couldn't it? =)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 17 I did what I thought would be the most amazing thing I'd do in my whole life, getting a tattoo without my family's consent. Then I thought it would be leaving more than 3000kms between me and everybody I knew and go live someplace totally new and unknown.
Now, I think I haven't ever done anything amazing, but I'd love to. That's why I opened 2 yrs ago a saving account: to put money aside for what could be my own amazing life achievement, a one year world trip. That's amazing in itself, non? that crazy idea?...
Teach, Learn, Share
What I want to learn? I don't know maybe the sweet words, the niceties in every possible languages (that's the well behaved part f me speaking here)!
What I could teach? I don't know really. I'm a bit of a chatterbox, so don't hesitate to ask about anything.
