About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy life to the full and visit as many beautiful places as I can before I have to grow up and start my career!

ABOUT ME

I would describe myself as a very happy person! I love to meet new people and learn new things and experience different cultures. Life is short I say, so I try to make the most of it.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others how you would like to be treated and always keep an open mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couchsurfing for a month now and had some amazing experiences! It has given me faith in humanity again!

Interests

When I'm not in the lab I enjoy designing and making jewellery. I love art and music and love nothing better than seeing live bands. I also love reading and meeting new people! If the weather permits in Ireland I try to go hiking as much as I can so I know several great places to trek. Feel free to ask me anything about hiking in Ireland!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge Bruce Springsteen fan, but I have very eclectic music tastes. Mostly rock and indie music. My favourite films are ones that make me laugh! I loved all the Harry Potter books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently visited the Perehetain Islands on the east coast of Malaysia. Snorkelling in the crystal clear waters there was amazing. I swam beside giant sea turtles, multicoloured parrot fish, beautiful coral gardens and I even found Nemo. Don't get too close to the sea anenomies though, they sting!

Teach, Learn, Share

If there are any insomniacs out there I can get you to sleep really quickly if I start talking about my research! My specialty is type 2 diabetes I can wow you with many interesting facts :) I also love to do arts and crafts. I taught myself how to make jewelry and fabric flowers. I would love to pass this knowledge on!
