ABOUT ME

I work for myself in Toronto, helping people achieve "goals and dreams", and taking great pleasure out of it! For me, success is in being a part of others' success. I have found the perfect career, being that it allows me to flex my bossy muscle, talk all day, meet new people, and work the value I bring, not just my time.
[Update - might not have been the perfect career, details to be shared when we chat.] *Update on that update, now I'm a career consultant, haha, the irony.

That being said, these days it keeps me very busy - yet I still manage to have as many mini-adventures as I can - without which I would most likely go insane!

I hate redundancy, I love new things, I'd rather do something than nothing, I love sharing (in all senses), and if you laugh at my jokes, I will always be your friend. If you are unnecessarily not nice, I will always call you out.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy morphs every day. Usually something along the lines of "nothing ever goes the way you plan but it turns out anyway"... Simply put, "It'll burn through" applies to cigarettes, and life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I had a couch back in the day, I had no surfers. Then I didn't, but I would still get requests, and had some random experiences here and there. Now that I do again, I await the most recent adventure!

I'll be honest, I host pretty rarely, so I choose people who seem sort of strange and happy (or conversely, completely and totally miserable... I have a thing with that) - I'm also probably not going to host if you're super young... Sorry for being ageist!

Intereses

Will try anything once. I enjoy ugly things, bright colours, loud noises - that makes me sound like an infant... I like to cook, solve other people's problems but not my own, ride my motorcycle, ride my bicycle, rollerblade (but it terrifies me), movies, cheesy Canadian television, hearing stories from unexpected people, learning about things I'll never need to know about, reading strangers' blogs, living in Toronto and all it has to offer... Among other things...

Every new connection I form is amazing... But if we're being specific, flying with my best friend in a tiny sea plane over the interior lakes in BC - most incredible view of my own country that I never would have seen. Also, I once saw this shooting star that changed my life. It came out of nowhere, and nothing was the same again.
